i happened to chance upon this on someone's blog, and i find this really interesting.
just wanna share with all of u.. hahaha..
look back, on my 18yrs of living on earth... during my childhood dayss.. hahaha!
INTERESTING! =D

1. You grew up watching He-man, MASK,Transformers, Silver hawk andMickey Mouse. Not to forget, Ninja turtles, My Little Pony and Smurfs too.
*okay. i rmb Ninja turtles, Smurfs and Mickey Mouse the most only.. LOL.

2. You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in Primary school during recess time. You will squat by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brush your teeth with a coloured mug.The teachers said you must brush each side 10 times too.
*HAHA! i rmb this!! not each side 10 times bah, downwards stroke 10 times, upwards stroke 10times, cannot up and downwards together, only ONE direction! LOL!

3. You know what SBC stands for.
*yea of cuz! HAHA. den TCS, den Mediacorp right~

4. You pay 40 cents for Chocolate or Strawberry MILK every week in class.
*nahh.. i rmb i din order.. hahaha.. but thinking back, it shld be compulsory. i dunno why i din order lei~ LOL.

5. You watch a very popular Malay dubbed Japanese drama on RTM1 about schoolgirls who possess powerful skills in volleyball called Meoro Attack.
*ooo~ i nv watch this kinda cartoon.. all i had was "shi wan ge wei shen me"!

6. You find your friends with pagers and handphone cool in Secondary school.
*alright lah.. i just feel that hp are cool, pagers, not so.. LOL.

7. SBS buses used to be non-airconditioned. The bus seats are made of wood and the cushion is red. The big red bell gives a loud BEEEP! when pressed. There are colourful tickets forTIBS buses.The conductor will check for tickets by using a machine which punches a hole in the ticket
*got punch hole ah? haha! the beep i noe. LOL.

8. Envelopes given to us to donate to Sharity Elephant every Children's Day
*YES YES YES!!! hahaha.. and we'll always put 10cents, or even 5cents! cuz that's the most we could afford at THAT time!! haha!

9. You've probably read Young Generation magazine.You know who's Vinny the little vampire and Acai the constable.
*yea~ ACAI. hahahaha. din read much on those though, but seen it b4 lah.

10. You were there when they first introduced MRT here. You went for the first ride with your parents and you would kneel on the seat to see the scenery
*nah.. i've nv ever took an mrt with my parents... =) got car mah.. =x

11. Movie tickets used to cost only $3.50.
*ehh.. this one i din noe.. my first movie shld be during my sec sch days~ $5? i think..

12. Gals are fascinated by Strawberry Short Cake and Barbie Dolls.
*no leh.. i'm a weird girl.. okay. i HATE pink.. but i LOVE strawberry! hahaha.. short cake? nahh.. not as much... =D

13. You learn to laugh like The Count in Sesame Street.
*HAHA. no... i love BIG BIRD the most. LOL!!! ellllmooo~~ =D

14. You longed to buy tibits called Kaka(20 cents per pack),and Ding Dang(50 cents per box), that had a toy in it and it changes every week not forgetting the 15 cents animal crackers and the ring pop, where the lollipop is the diamond on the ring.
*YES!! i used to live in a shophouse, above my father's shop. then, there's this Econ minimart beside my father's shop. so i'll popby everytime, and the auntie, i think find me very cute lah hor, always gimme such things to eat.. hiak hiakkk~~ and i rmb there's this ice cream, after u finish, u open up the cup below, got helloe kitty toy! i still have a series with me till now!!! LOL. not bcuz i lyk hello kitty, but.. my childhood memories lahh... =)

15. You watched TV2(also known as Channel 10) cartoons because Channel 5 never had enough cartoons for you.
*no.. i'm not a cartoon person.. =) tom and jerry and la bi xiao xin on vcd were my favourite then only.. =D

16. Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Three Investigators, Famous Five and secret Seven are probably the thickest story books you ever thought you have read. Even Sweet Valley High and Malory Towers.
*haha. wrong. i dun read often.. muahahas.. my thickest book is "True Singapore Ghost Stories"!! LOL.

17. KFC used to be a high class restaurant that serve food in plates and let you use metal forks and knives.
*LOL. izzit! i dun recall~~ hahaha!

18. The most vulgar thing you said was asshole and idiot and THE MOST EXTREME WAS 'super white'...you just couldn't bring yourself to say the hokkien relative.
*ok! HAHAA. this is so funny and true!! LOL. we use it SO OFTEN during pri sch days man!!

19. Catching was the IN thing and twist as the magic word.
*yea.. during pri sch, we'll go opposite block and play catching.. HAHA. and TWIST, we still use it now! when we see "tortoise car", and someone wanna knock your head, u'll go, "TWIST.", cannot knock. HAHAA!! childish. LOL!!

20. Your English workbooks was made of some damn poor quality paperthat was smooth and yellow.
*yeah~ PETS TEXTBOOK. LOL!!!

21. CDIS were your bestfriend.
*okayy.. i dun understand this~ izzit night class? hahahaaa...

22. The only computer lessons in school involved funny pixellisedcharacters in 16 colours walking about trying to teach you maths.
*yeah~ and touchtyping laaaa.. haha!

23. Waterbottles were slinged around your neck and a must everywhere you go.
*LOL! i not so toot, heng ah. HAHAHA. i dun sling it.. HAHA.

24. Boys loved to play soccer with small plastic balls in thebasketball court.
*yea.. i think so! girls lyk to CLIMB ARD the monkey bars during my pri sch days lor! hahaha!

25. Teng-teng, batu lesung, chapteh, hentam bola and zero point were all the rage with the girls and boys too...
*yeahh!! i miss em all!! very fun leh. LOL. not forgetting hopscotch and five stones!!! LOL.

26. Science was fun with the balsam and the angsana being the mostimportant plants of our lives, guppies and swordtail being the most important fish.
*HAHAHA. yes. and i rmb i went to the garbage collection there to catch houseflies for my wadeva science badges project with my fren lor!! memoriess~~ haha!

27. Who can forget Ahmad, Bala, Sumei and John, eternalized in our minds from the textbooks. Even Mr Wally & Mr. Yakki. What abt MissLala??? And Zaki and Tini in Malay Textbooks?
*HAHA!! Ahmad. bala, sumei and john are ALWAYS use in Maths PROBLEM SUMS questions!!! LOL.

28. We carry out experiments of our own to get ourself badges for being a Young Zoologist/Botanist etc.
*OH yes yes.. THIS IS THE ONE. i went to catch houseflies for this YOUNG zoologist badge mans!!! hahaha!! and i rmb i pri 3 nv submit my project lah! the teacher nv chased my work mans. HAHA.

29. Every children's day and national day you either get pins or pens with 'HappyChildren's Day 1993' or dumbfiles with Happy National Day1994'.
*LOL!! yeah! and during my tuition one lesson ah, i picked up a SUPER nice glitter blue pen that townsville pri gave the students for children's day gift. i think i still have it with me now. it's really super nice! as in.. the color of the pen! teck ghee pri has nv give out any really great stuffs man. LOL. i still keep the "shapes" ruler with me now! HAHA.

30. In Primary six you had to play buddy for the younger kids like big sister and brother.
*yea~ and we have "buddy system"!! and i used to coach a little boy for chinese.. i still rmb him now, cuz often see him ard AMK. =D but he forgot me le sia.. =/

31. We wear BM2000, BATA, or Pallas shoes.
*BATA! and i stopped wearing it since pri 5, 6 or sec one lah. HAHA.

32. Your form teacher taught you maths,science and english.
*yea~ AH LYE. one lady that i'll nv forget for life.. =D but i THINK she nv teach us science lei~ haha.. i was once a science monitress! hoho! how proud. LOLLLL!! =x

33. The worksheets were made of brown rough paper of poor quality.
*yes!! greyish ones oso.. LOL.

34. You went to school in slippers and a raincoat when it rained, and you find a dry spot in the school to sit down, dry your feet, and wear your dry and warm socks and shoes.
*HAHA. okay~ this is familiar! i think i did it few times only... not often. cuz some kids ah, they do this only when their parents accompany em to sch, den they'll get their mum to bring the wet slippers home. i go sch by sch bus, so... a bit "laychey~". LOL.

35. School dismissal time was normally around 1 pm.
*yah lah!! den when i get into sec sch, my father always ask me, how come so late return home. WAHHH!! not i wan de mans.. the sch system is liddat wad u wan me to do? =S

36. There would be spelling tests and mental sums to do almost everyday.
*HAHA. yahh!! and my mum always test me at night before my spelling tests.. =D

37. Your friends considered you lucky and rich if your parents gaveyou $3 or more for pocket money everyday.
*yah lah! we'll always, "wahh.. so good.. my father only give me $2 leh..." HAHA!

38. You see Wee Kim Wee's face in the school hall.
*ehh.. this one i dun rmb.. i rmb ah, my pri sch hall, is ong teng chong.. =D maybe wee kim wee is not "my time" one..

39. You freak out when the teacher tells you to line up according to height and hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl.
*i din. cuz i'm the consider quite tall one in my class THEN. LOL! but the hold hands part, we alwyas hook little finger, our pinky, or fake hold hands, but actually din hold! HAHA!

40. Boys like to catch fighting spiders.
*YAH lah! using those little bottles which fill prunes, selling at ard 30cents each!!! HAHA.

41. Collecting and battling erasers was a pastime for boys
*for girls too!! the COUNTRY erasers!!! LOL. fun mans. hahaha...

42. Autograph books were loaded with "Best Wishes", "Forget Me Not", and small poems like "Bird fly high, hard to catch.Friend like you, hard to forget".
*SO TRUE. i still have those autograph books with me!! few more to add, Friends forever and the big M with the words attached- Maths Make Me Mad. LOL!!!!

43. Class monitors and prefects loved to say "You talk somemore,I write your name ah!"
*HAHA!! hannorrr!! LOL. den all will keep quiet!! HAHA. sometimes, we'll go and erase our names. LOL.

44. There were at least 40 people in one class.
*yeah!! big class size!

45. Large, colourful schoolbags were carried.
*yeaa.. but at a certain age, the bags i carry are not so colourful already~ and i rmb when i was in pri sch, my bro pack my bag for me!! he'll arrange the books in order, from the biggest book size to the smallest one... how sweet THEN.. =)

46. You brought every single book to school, even though there was one thing called the timetable.
*alright lah.. i do pack my bag.. u noe, at stationery shops, always b4 sch reopen they've this timetable format thingy on their counter, and i'll take, write and paste on my table de.. HAHA. lower pri no lah.. upper pri den i did.. =D

okays. i hope u ppl find this interesting enough! hahaha... =D
i find it really super interesting and memorable mans!!! my pri sch dayssss.. aww~
