Event: River Regatta 2008.

google-d and realized that dragonboat race i caught by chance was River Regatta 2008.
i got out from cousin's chalet to attend to something, but realized i was too early to reach somerset, so i stopped by Raffles station and decided to walk over to somerset.
caught the race by chance and stopped by for an hour or so and took many pictures!
first time catching a db race and finds it... really interesting!

Lane 4 is NP's dragonboaters.
heard that they lost..
but i was so lucky to be sitting there and still able to catch that team rowing,
out of so many teams participating!

my fav bridge, once again.. something new i see at that bridge. =)

ultimate boliao, i took the "lanes" in he waters. LOL.
i thought they look kinda cute. hahaha.

my last picture of the day,
at the finishing point,
the boat that came in first at one of the races.

basically, i walked from the finishing point, to the starting point,
crossed opposite, and walked from the starting point, back to the finishing point.
then carried on my walk to somerset.
i'm loving it. =D

we weren't that tired after BBQ the previous night,
headed straight down to Changi Airport for our HEAVY brunch.
Thanks uncle auntie for the treat! =D

chilling at liquid kitchen is good!
caught a soccer match, man u vs man city there.
quite funny, cuz if score a goal, we can order anything at 30% discount. haha.
drinks were really good. and it's totally weird to play Jenga there!

zhili.shuwen.wanxuan and i went to waraku for dinner,
cuz it's ladies night @ waraku!

shuwen felt so cheated by this Peach dessert.
i thought it was alright. hahaha.
looks really good lo... but tasted.. hmmm uh hm..

the entire bill was... DIRT CHEAP!
totally enjoyed the meal, especially when it's jap cuisine- favourite! =)
